INSTRUCTORS

ANN LORRAINE FELICE

Founder and Owner of Let’s Create, Ann Lorraine is a Doctoral candidate at Columbia University in the Art Education Department (dissertation level) received her MA, &  BA from William Paterson University.  Ann retired from the Nutley School System after 32 years and hosted and produced the video series, “Let’s Create” (Parent’s Choice Award and Coalition for Children’s Quality Video recommended); now an Adjunct Professor at Seton Hall University, supervising art student teachers.  Ann has dedicated her career to teaching children and has made “Let’s Create” Studio, Denville her new love.


DAVE McCOY D
ave has been drawing since childhood and has worked as a professional cartoonist and illustrator for 30 years. He taught classes for the past 5 years at the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon in Dover, as well as drawing and design classes at Gibbs College.  Mr. McCoy has a BA in art, freelances as a caricature artist, and is a children’s book illustrator.

KELLY BOGUCZ

Kelly has a passion for graffiti art and is working on her BFA in Fine Arts at William Paterson University.  Kelly has always strived to be an art educator, and has been with Let’s Create for the past five years.  Her innovation and enthusiasm help spark her students’ imagination while learning the specific techniques of this art expression.
 

MARTHA ROMANO

Martha is a professional award-winning artist and art educator, pianist / composer, author  and instructor at Let’s Create for over ten years.  She is the creator of popular school Art Enrichment programs, which she has conducted in more than twenty five schools and libraries to enthusiastic reviews and return requests.  Martha has been an adjunct art instructor at County College of Morris for over 15 years.  A graduate of Newark School of Fine and Industrial Art, Martha attended the School of Visual Arts in NYC, completed the Arts Genesis program for teachers at Jersey City University, and does ongoing independent study.

LAURIE HARDEN

Laurie attended Kansas City Art Institute, transferred to the Rhode Island School of Design where she majored in painting and Illustration, and minored in printmaking.  Ms. Harden is a member of The Graphic Artists Guild, Morris County Art Association, the American Artists Professional League Pastel Society of NJ, and the Arts Council of the Morris Area. She was recently commissioned to paint the portrait of former N.J. Governor Brendan Byrne.  Laurie exhibits widely in the Tri-State region, and has been teaching art for over twenty five years.

KAREN PARK

K
aren is a talented illustrator working as a professional artist for many years.  She is also a muralist;  an example of her work is in the Lakeland YMCA. Karen is teaching enrichment art classes in the Kinnelon school district, and now at Let’s Create.


BILL GOW

a Mountain Lakes resident is an accomplished artist who has worked in advertising and has done book illustration. He is also a professional sculptor. He comes to us with experience in teaching art to seniors at St. Claire’s and is a welcomed addition to our staff.

 
MARK de MOS

Mark is widely exhibited, and has taught for over twenty five years.  His unique “loose” style has been published in features for Pub Light Books “Best of Watercolor: Sp;ash 8 and Splash 9,” and the book “Watercolor Secrets.” The recipient of multiple awards by NJ  and national art associations, Mark is founder of the Pastel Society of New Jersey, and is a Signature Member of numerous prestigious art societies, including Allied Artists of America, Hudson Valley AA, Garden State WS, Baltimore WS, New Jersey WS, North East WS, as well as founding member of Cerulean Gallery.  Click to VIEW ART & MORE IINFO


PHYLLIS JOHNSON

Phyllis Johnson has been painting in oils for over 30 years. She studied at Newark School of Fine Arts, Arts Students League NYC, Susquehanna University and Montclair State University.  Awarded a Scholarship Membership to Salmagundi Club in NY, and is a member of the Watercolor Society of NJ. Exhibits in various galleries in group and solo shows in NY, NJ and VT.


BERNADINE FERRRI

Bernadine has an BFA in Art from Kean University. She has also studied at the School of Visual Arts and at Parsons School of Design summer studies in France and Italy. Bernadine’s current work includes over ten years of inspirational instruction for children, maximizing their artistic potential by utlizing a variety of art media and imaginative teaching techniques. She has also been creating caricature, face painting, temporary tatoos and  air brushing at private and corporate events for over 20 years. Bernadine has extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of computer graphic design, which includes logo identity programs and Web sites.


JESSICA ROSS

Our newest staff member specializes in oil painting, watercolor, and illustration. She is a graduate of Montclair University, where she received BFA in Illustration and Animation. Jessica is an outgoing and inspiring educator.
