Martha Romano
Martha has been creating and teaching one-of-a-kind art classes to inspire children, teens and adults at Let’s Create since the studio first opened its doors in 1998.
An experienced art educator, Martha has been creating and teaching independent art enrichment programs and artist-in-residence programs in more than twenty five schools and libraries, to rave reviews and many return requests. Martha receives many thank you letters and testimonials from school principals, PTO directors, parents and students. Martha is an adjunct art instructor at the County College of Morris, Randolph, NJ. The artist also offers private instruction to individuals and small groups.
In addition to art classes and private instruction, the artist has original paintings, drawings and prints available for purchase, as well as accepts commissions for original art, portraits, ‘Purr-fect Pet Portraits’, murals, and more.
A versatile pianist and composer, Martha performs for special events at the MacDowell Club, museums, receptions, Victorian teas, schools, churches and weddings, and composed and performed all original music for the 2011 Awaken! International Spiritual Film Festival reception held March 4th at the Center For Spiritual Living, Morristown, NJ. Martha also composes music for meditation and inner calm.
A graduate of Newark School of Fine and Industrial Art, Martha attended the School of Visual Arts in NYC, completed the Arts Genesis program for teachers at Jersey City University, and does ongoing independent study.
